This story is more of motivational than funny ,💁💁
primary 6 , hm primary 6 well primary six was good I mean the last class of primary school and i couldn't wait to leave the school , I was made a school prefect, library prefect .Well that didn't just happen and this is where my story begins ,
i wasn't the smartest child , infact i wasn't close to it and i wanted to enter Jss1 I was 9 , common entrance exams and everything. The school i wanted to go to was FAITH ACADEMY , well i wrote like 4 schools i wrote ISL, DANSOL , CALEB , I passed these 3 and before i wrote faith academy my class teacher told me i cant do it , that i was dumb and its only brilliant people that can enter the school because of how competitive it was ,
her words got to me and i told my parents . I know you are expecting a fight , but my mum told me i should take it as a challenge to be better and even to do better , i had lessons all day assignments and everything , i wrote all the exams awaiting results for all.
I went to dansol for my interview and i had a low score in maths i think 54% their pass mark was 50% ,😓 my mum was like how can u get this in maths how will you pass faith academy . I prayed and i told my mum I'm going to enter this school .
the results came out on a Sunday, i was in church my mum came to drop the news , before she spoke i jumped on her saying i passed . I didn't enter the school o, i slid into the school my guyys like Michael Jackson.😜😜
That means I got above 80% because that was the pass mark , I passed the interview as well.
Back to my non-believing teacher , she still said you passed the exam lets see how you'll pass the interview , you think its just by exam , shame on her i passed the interview .
just guess what she said when she heard , she didn't believe o ...................................my mum told me to show her my admission letter , I didn't !! before she will tear it, I told her i passed and I got into the school she started arguing with me that its a lie, she then said she was happy for me
*eye rolling * and she knew i could do it. i was the only student in that set that went to faith academy and to believe I had above 80% ...................me the child the teacher concluded was dumb ,
this isn't some Ben Carson story , but because of this achievement i was library prefect and most improved student .
i hope i encouraged someone today
